Hi Chaps,
I've just moved into a new house and it has a Lander Alarms, micro
6-60 house alarm. It looks like a pretty ancient piece of kit and I'm
planning to replace it with something more up-to-date. The problem: the
previous owner does not have a code for it - the house has been a
rental property for a very long time so he has not been using it
himself.

The alarm is not enabled so I can come and go without a problem, the
only words shown on the LCD are something like 'A/C ok'. I can't find
reference to this alarm on the internet but I thought those of you who
have been around for a while might have an idea. So can I just remove
it or will this have an anti-tamper device to set off the siren and, if
so, which size hammer would you recommend!

Thanks,
Phil
