Folks,

I was attempting to change the time on my 9827 control panel by keying
in the access code + 3 (I think). Instead of displaying YY in the two
digit display as I expected, it's displayed two lines, the typical
display when another command is to be input.

Unfortunately every key I press now just produces a buzzing tone and
nothing seems to put it back into its standby mode (or whatever mode it
is when it's doing nothing).

Any tips?

Evan

Try 99 then Clear (tick)
Or 7 then Clear (tick)

If you want I can get you the manuals.

Thanks... I will try this.

We've actually got the user and installation manuals. Neither have a
troubleshooting section or describe this problem.

They do mention that the flashing double lines are an indication that
the system is waiting for an input. In this case however, pressing any
button just causes an "error" buzz.

If your confident about programming it again, I would do a cold restart and
start again.
