I've read the manual and have a question. Is the wiring for zone 1
different than the other zones? All of my other zones work fine
except for zone 1. I know the contact is good and I have even
replaced it on the panel with a jumper between ZN1 and COM and yet the
system still sees zone 1 as open. Any suggestions?

Check your programming to see if you have zone one assigned to the
keypad.

A jumper or a Resistor? Zone 1 works the same as the other zones. Try
putting the resistor across zone one but make sure to disconnect the actual
zone wires from it. This should narrow it down.

Figured it out. Actually it was because the keypad was setup to be
used as a zone as well. I'm learning a great deal in this process and
the people and messages in this group are helping. Thanks everyone!
