I got a "check 70" displayed on a Honeywell 6150 fixed english keypad.
I went over the manual, program sheet but don't have the keypad
literature. The central got the trouble signal and the restore when I
reset the keypad when I finished the repairs.

Equipment list:

Ademco Vista 20se
4229 expander
System Sensor 2 wire smokes
IEI Glass break detectors (audio)
6150 keypad
All zones hardwired.

I had the system powered down while I cleaned all the smokes (3).
Then I repaired 2 burg zones with breaks.

Anyone know what a check 70 trouble is?

Thanks

Roger W.

Bell supervision trouble...check your siren/bell wiring...or just see if the
siren/bell runs.

True. Also, if the red jumper has been
cut the gentleman will need a 1K-Ohm
EOL resistor across the siren terminals.
The factiry default (jumprt uncut) is an
unsupervised output.

Note to newbies: Do NOT install the EOL
resistor inside the panel. Place it at the
siren location.

Thanks. I never thought to look in the Addendum sheet dated 2/98 until
you mentioned it. Yep, there it is. CHECK 70. Trouble is I never cut
that jumper or connected a 2k resistor to the speaker. I know I'm
senile but not that bad.......yet. I must have shorted something when
I disconected the power to the driver. Thanks again, Crash.
