Hopefully this is a quick question for someone...
We currently built a windows 2003 server and configured it with IIS 6.0
which is secure out of the box. In doing regression testing of some of our
web applications, we found that there were processes that we could not run
unless we switched the isolation mode to IIS 5.0.
My question is: If we run this server in the IIS 5.0 isolation mode, do we
need to run URLScan and IIS Lockdown as we had on our windows 2000 boxes or
does the fact that this is IIS 6.0 running as IIS 5.0 still provide the same
security level?
Thanks,
