If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Hi,
I want to change the SID of a user on windows Vista to match with that
of a user on windows XP or vice-a-versa(the systems are installed on the
same computer/laptop as dual boot)....Please don't ask the reason :)

Is there a tool that will allow me to change the SID of a user?

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
you could try a util called newsid downloadable from MS

Newsid replaces SIDs on computer accounts, not user accounts.
