If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
This is possible. You will just need to have the intranet server be apart
of the domain that the users log into. Then create a local group on the web
server and give that group NTFS rights on the directory where the intranet
is located. Remove the IUSR_MACHINENAME user from the directory. Switch
your virtual root for the intranet to NTLM authentication and remove
Anonymous. That should be all you need to do. Your users will not be
prompted for username and password as long as their browsers are set to use
current authentication. Because its an intranet you probably wont have to
worry about this setting as it would come in under the "Local Intranet" zone
which always "Automatically Logs on with current username and password".
Good luck!
