If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I placed a post a couple of weeks ago it gets a few responses, then
dissapears and it reappears under another news group then dissapears again.
Then comes back with no thread.
Is someone controlling this? It was about my IME language bar not working.

and this thread, in this newsgroup alone and only under the Marvel
name. What you are experiencing is likely result of your newsreader
(an Outlook Express on XP that is in need of latest patches) or the
news server you are using (apparently RoadRunner?).

Yes Roadrunner, and the message has appeared under my "fj.life.in-japan"
news group I clicked those links you left and it responded Outlook Express
was unable to retrieve the requested message. I also pasted them in my
browser no luck
I will run my updates and see if that stops it, I recently got the beta 2
explorer 7 is that an issue?

I can't address any issues with Internet Explorer 7 since I don't run
beta software on the Windows machines, although I doubt the problem
stems from that. If you are accessing these groups through Road
Runner's news server they could be having problems. See if they have
any user forums. In the meantime, try using the Microsoft news server
directly for its newsgroups. It is msnews.microsoft.com. Here are links
to help you:
