What version of Windows is installed on the computer? Is there a
firewall installed? Is there antivirus software installed, antispyware
program?

You could run a full scan at: "Windows Live Safety Center"
http://safety.live.com/site/en-US/default.htm

See also: "Windows Defender (Beta 2)"
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

Could you also tell us how you know that her computer is taken over by
someone else?
