hi all,

got a weird problem with user rights.

I got a few shares where the group everyone has all rights to.
all existing users can use this shares.
the problem is with the new user.
when I make a new user they can only acces a few of the shares where
others get no acces error.
the rights on the shares are all the same and on the same machine.
tried making the user new or with copy from existing user.
assign user to share gives user acces to share but I don't want to
assign each user seperatly.
tried new user account from seperate machines.
server is 2000 advanced, cluster passive/active.
workstation is xp pro.

any idea anyone?

Why not using groups instead of assigning permissions to users individually?
