If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Not easily. However, it can be done with a bit of planning and resource kit
tools.
The proper permissions that should be on the user home folders would be to have
the user be the only Full Control, and no other users (short of Domain Admins,
if you desire) having access.
This could be accomplished much easier using CACLS and a list of directories and
the associated owner with the command switches to grant each user exclusive
access to the child folder under \HOME.

Conversation: home directory issue
Subject: home directory issue
running into a small issue.
the shared directory is shared to everyone and for a time the security was
set to everyone full access, then each user has a folder within this shared
folder.
we are now running into the problem of network users browsing the network
accessing other users drives. is it possible to keep them from accessing
other users folders without having to change the security on over 2000
folders?
please help!!
