If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
hello there
i was wondering if there is any way to disable the start--run---mmc command
from all the xp clients....
i found only some restrictions from the GPO but not a way to disable that
command....

What is your goal? Why do you want to disable MMC?

Mmc has two modes, author and user. You need to create a console with the
snapins you need then set it to user mode. Distribute this to the users.
They will not be able to alter this console. You can also use group policy
to restrict users from running consoles in author mode.
