I have added an explicit ldap crl distribution point entry onto one of
our Enterprise Subordinate CA's (member server), in the format

ldap://cdp1.contoso.com/CN=CorporateRootCA,CN=Root_CA,CN=CDP,CN=Public
Key Services,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=contoso,DC=com?
certificateRevocationList?base?objectClass=cRLDistributionPoint

When I added the entry I noticed that the option to "Publish CRL's to
this location" is greyed out.

After checking the available boxes, and viewing the CDP distribution
points with the pkiview utility. The explicit entry that I added does
not show up. Only the delta CRL entry

Could someone please tell me if this is by design?

Do I need to publish the explicit ldap entry into Active Directory on
a schedule similar to an http entry?

I would appreciate any feedback,

Thank you,
