Hello IT guys!

Please advice about security issues concerning letting users do iTunes
client in a business LAN.

As far as I'm concerned, anyone seen doing things like in the office that
gets a dose of the Goa'uld hand-device. So there. <g>

Seriously, bandwidth wastage is a concern, certainly if it becomes a craze.
The same is true of course if a lot of users start browsing YouTube or
playing internet radio stations. I point out to them that because of the
nature of a business site, such things have an antisocial impact here,
whereas they might be acceptable at home.

The other main concern is that of backups -or roaming profiles- becoming
clogged with Gigabytes of downloaded junk. This might even have an impact on
data security if the backups fail to complete as a result of the sheer volume
of junk.

Also, IIRC, iTunes forces CD Autrun ON even if it was purposely set to OFF.
This raises a security risk from malicious CDRs etc.
