hi ,

i want to open an port 110 on my server 2003 , the Symantec Mail Security
for SMTP is running on my server because i have an exchange server 2003(sp1)
is running with the windows server 2003(sp1) on another machine my mails are
going out through SMTP filter where port no 25 is open on that software but
the issue is that when i want to connect from out side of my network i can
only send mails but cant receive it is because of the port 110 because that
is closed on my server , so plzz can any body hepl me out to open that port ,

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Could you please try breaking that apart into more than one single
sentence ?? It is very hare to see just exactly what is where, that
is, it is hard to follow . . . it just runs on and on and is unclear.

Do you have a firewall - if so have you configured your firewall to allow
the traffic?
