I would like to know how to change the rule settings in the windows Xp pro
firewall to stop the firewall alert from popping up when using limewire

Try.- Tools, Internet Options, Security, Trusted sites, Sites, add Web site.

Control Panel, Windows Firewall, Exceptions, Add Program.
