There are smartcard readers with integrated fingerprint reader. So you can
enter your "Finger" on the Reader to access to the smartcard.

In Microsoft you have the possibility to authenticate yourself via smartcard
and Kerberos protocol. Does Microsoft plan to use such biometric (i.e.
fingerprint) smartcard reader to authenticate a user via Kerberos?

Thanx

There are some 3rd party solutions out there today that do this. You would
need to set up Smart Card logon, but instead of using PIN to access private
key on your smart card you use biometric (e.g. finger prints). If you are
authorized to access information on smart card (e.g. you own right fingers)
smart card logon process continues as it normally would -- using Kerberos
protocol.

Note that it is quite easy to fool some inexpensive biometric readers.

There are some other options e.g.
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/convenience.mspx, but I haven't tested
them so I can't really give you any special advice on them.
