If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
in a network environment, what are the basic firewall rules must be
configured in a firewall?

If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Block all incoming and outgoing ports that you don't want traffic on.

Need more information. That really depends on what services you use, what
operating systems you're using, your domain controller, where the firewall
is placed, whether you're talking about a desktop firewall on workstations,
etc. Really, if you have to ask that question, I think you're much better
off hiring or getting someone who knows the answer to that question to do it
for you. You wouldn't want a mistake in your firewall rules to cause you to
be hacked, for example.
