Additional security, Ive been asked to place on a folder under a share.
Anyone familiar with an additional password protection I can put on a
specific folder under a share other than what there already is?

You can set specific NTFS permissions per folder/file in a share, is
that what you mean?

You would need to use some third party encryption for this.

Native Windows OS only support password protect a folder if it is a shared
for Macintosh clients.

You can get 3rd party products like the one from
http://www.folder-password-expert.com/ (need to buy) or download the Folder
Firewall 2006 from cnet.com for a try.

HTH.
