Hi,

I manage MS Windows server 2003 SP1 based domain, inhabited by MS Windows XP
SP2 clients. These clients connect to the domain via wireless network cards
and access points (D-Link).

The problem I have is that my client computers seem to initialize their
network connection only after user credentials are supplied, not before. As
far as I know this is not the intended behavior. Thus computer policies, such
as computer sortware assignment, are not applied, even after user logs in.

Thanks for any information.

There is a Microsoft wireless newsgroup where you may want to post this
question. Not all wireless equipment is equal and some works better than
others when used in a domain environment where computer policy needs to be
applied at startup ideally. --- Steve
