When I click on this it says :' Due to an unidentified problem, Windows
cannot display firewall settings'. Seems to say this whatever I do. i also
tried to load Mcfee 2006 on my comp and it said due to unidentified problem,
could no longer load. Currently had No - adware as anti virus on machine
(windows XP Professional) and have always scanned. Can anybody help. Also my
System restore turns itself off everytime I turn machine off? Thanks

No-Adware is NOT an anti-virus application.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
