I wonder if anyone can assist. I wish to remove some items from the Windows
Defender 'Allowed items' - but it will not allow me to do this under my sign
in, or that of admins. Indeed the 'allowed items' list doesn't even show any
items that have previously been permitted.

I have also tried to effect 'sysem restore', but it would appear that there
is no safe restore point.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards.

Microsoft has established separate newsgroups for Windows Defender support
and comments. This is not one of them.

See
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/newsgroups/default.mspx

TIP: Access these newsgroups using your default newsreader, not your
browser. See instructions on above page.
