If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have an app that need to read the Securiyt Event Log. It cannot I get an
error (Win32Exception: Windows error code: 1722 LookupAccountSid: 1722). The
user that the service runs as is administrator. I used secpol to make sure
that administrators group has the Manage auditing and security log right, it
does. What is interesting is when I run whoami /all it show that the Manage
auditing and security log(Manage auditing and security log) is disabled. Any
body got any ideas. Oh by the way I used the ntrights utility that comes with
the resource kit to give the administrator user the Manage auditing and
security log right.
