If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options As Jim said, secure your router by changing the admin password (especially if
it is still the same as when you bought it).
You should also enable some sort of filtering to restrict access - whether
WEP, WPA or MAC filtering. You'll most likely need to find someone with
average computer skills to help you with this, because you will need to
modify your computer afterwards to connect to your own wireless network.
To be completely safe, listen to Malke and just pay someone (qualified) to
come out and do this for you - they can also check to see if any "back doors"
were left on the system. It all depends on how computer savvy the person who
did this is.
