I recently started having the security center in my WinXP Home say that the
virus protection can't be found. But I am running Symantec Corporate edition
version 10 and the virus defintion files are all up to date. Has anyone seen
this happen before? And more importantly what do I do to correct the problem?

Security Center doesn't recognize all antivirus programs. If it worked with
the same av you have before, then something has changed. First, make sure
that your machine is malware-free by going through these steps
systematically:

If the machine is clean and your av is still working, then something must
have changed. Check with Symantec tech support.
