Virtumondo and safe mode, HELP! equinenl 01-11-2006

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I was putting my computer into safe mode and I did so by opening the run box
and typing msconfig; it asked me if I wanted to restart and I agreed. Now
that I've restarted I logged in as an administrator because I was going to go
in and delete the Virtumondo adaware. However, my screen is ALL black except
for "safe mode" in all four corners. There is no start button or anything
and it doesn't look at all like the normal "safe mode". PLEASE HELP IF YOU
CAN!

Thats because explorer.exe is not starting. Run Task Manager (Ctrl + Shitf +
Esc) and start explorer.exe.
