Is there a way to get a report of user rights? Such as I want to know what
files and directories user A has on server A.

Try Permission Analyzer. It creates a TreeView of directories and access
rights for each user or user group.

Cacls can also do the job, it displays or modifies DACL files and it comes
part of the OS, no purchase required.

User rights are tasks that a user is allowed to do on a computer such as
change system time or logon locally. So my guess is you really want to
enumerate permissions. See the links below for possibilities. In the first
link check out showacls and subinacl. Subinacl is fairly user unfriendly but
very powerful. The second link is to a cool free program called dumpsec
which you may find useful. Some network scanners such as LanGuard [free to
try] can also display a LOT of information about your servers particularly
if you are a local administrator on the target server you scan. --- Steve
