For what you want to do, first step is to file a police report. MSN Hotmail
will not release any personal information about that email address without
a legal basis.
What you need to do is a thorough forensic investigation of your computer.
Don't do anything before checking with your local police; if they are
interested in taking action, they will tell you how to proceed.
If they aren't going to do anything, and you can't light any fires under
their chairs, this may be advisable:
Make an image of the HDD(s). Or just replace the HDD(s); keep the old ones
for examination. Set up a new install, and take all security precautions as
you set it up. If you can find somebody with a computer to spare, and
isolated from a LAN, hook up the HDD(s) as slaves, and run scanning
software to see what it might find in the way of malware. In any case, do
not disturb the contents of the HDD(s) if you want to learn what happened.
It sounds like you may have a keylogger on board.
