I forgot the WEP key to log on to my home wireless network and im
trying to retrieve it from the computer that has the password saved.

how do I unhide the saved password in the network connection password
field?

Hopefully you can't.

If one of your machines can access the wireless unit (at 192.168.0.1 for
instance) then you can set the WEP key
to something new and then change all the associated wireless computers.

If you cannot access your wireless unit then you will have to set it to
defaults (usually a button on the back).

If you need the default name/password for your wireless unit get back here
with its name and model.

You might try some of the many "BehindTheAsterisks" programs (AsterIE,
AsterWin, AstLog, ...), or Cain (<http://www.oxid.it/>). The latter, and
probably a few of the former, are often classified as malware by some
AntiVirus programs.
