If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
My teen tells me that sites like Freeproxy, myspace and others are safe
because they are filtered through the websites virus scan and you can
personally block unwanted viewers or responders. I view them as an internet
free-for-all with no rules or limits. What's the truth?

I'd say neither of those two extremes is a completely fair view of the
situation but your view is closer to the truth by a very wide margin.
