After installing the latest service pack for Windows 2000 SP4 : ref: KB912919
which addresses the WMF vulnerability the CAD program I ran into a serious
problem. The CAD program I use no longer displayed dimensions! This is bad.
Is there a proper fix in the works that won't have this deleterious
side-effect?

For now, I have uninstalled the service pack so I can keep working.
However, that's not safe. Looking forward to a proper fix or a good
work-around.

Thanks in advance,

Nick

This is getting worse. After uninstalling the service pack and rebooting,
my CAD program still won't display any dimensions. Can anyone offer a
suggestion on how this can be fixed?

I would have thought that uninstalling the security update would have
returned everything back to the settings that were in place just before it
was installed. This is very sloppy work Microsofties.

How do know, beyond doubt, that the patch had any effect on your CAD
program?
Something may have gone wrong but it maybe that the patch did not cause it.
