Okay so I am on a windows 2003 server. I first found that these certain types
of files (.wpd) Corel files could not be downloaded from the web. I first
thought it was a security issue so I right clicked the files and was going to
look at the permissions. The security tab is missing. In fact only the
General tab and the Summary tab are available. I tried copying the file and
the same thing with the copied file. I moved it to another drive on the
server, same issue. In fact it is affecting all the .WPD files in that
folder....... there are other files like exe's, pdf's, etc. Those can be
downloaded just fine from IIS and the security tab is viewable. Any ideas?
The files are not encrypted.

Thanks,

Looks to me like you don't have the permissions to the files, that's why you
can't see Security tab. Were these files copied by someone else to that
location? How about the folder permissions where the files are stored? If
you're an administrator of that box, click on Advanced button when you view
Properties of the folder/file. From there, you can see who's the current
owner of the file/folder.
