Sure. You can either boot the machine from a CD that includes AV
software, or remove the HD and hook it up to another machine - just
make sure that Autorun is disabled, and don't actually execute anything
from that HD.

For convenience, there's adapters that allow you to connect an IDE
drive via USB.
