We are using Microsoft server 2000 exchange software on our server, we also
have tried to deny access to the internet by restricting our router to
restrict certain IP addresses, but some of our employees have learned to
"bypass proxy server with the http:// domainname.com on port 8080. Nothing I
do prevents them from the ability to insert this setting. I have tried
reducing them from power users to users. Still if you put in the http
setting it will bypass the router. We do want them to have email capasity and
would like to just limit the website's certain pc's could go to but it
doesn't appear that Microsoft Server 2000 Small Business Server Exchange
can help us restrict the use. We also conncect the clients via TCP/IP and do
not beleive we can disable the setting. Our employees would not be fooled by
an erroneous IP address either. Writting a scrip for installed divises?
How?
