I'm trying to set up wireless security using WPA2 and 802.1x radius
authentication to my SBS 2003 server running IAS. I have been following the
instructions in the SBS 2003 Administrator's Companion to set it up. I
haven't gotten it working with certificates yet but that's not my concern
right now.

Is there any way for this setup to work with non-domain clients? My laptop
and a couple others are not and won't be joined to the domain but we'd like
to still use certificates to authenticate. Is there any way we can enable
some sort of guest access with WPA2 + certificates?

If not then do you have any recommendations on how to maximize wireless
security without joining the laptops to the domain?

You would have the user at the computer authenticate against the domain.
The user would require an account that is referenced by the UPN in the
certificate.

Authentication would fail for the laptop itself, as the laptop would not
have an account in the domain.
