If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
The 20 digit Product Id no that appears on the "About Microsoft Excel" page,
is that no shown on the Office disk or the box the software came in. How can
I tell if the software on the computer was installed from the disk I have?

Well, if you reinstall it with the code you have, you can be pretty sure.
