If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have an odd situation in which I need to prevent a particular computer on
our network from being able to access/install one of our network shared
printers. I can simply tell the user not to install it but if the printer is
installed by mistake and a job is sent, it causes the spooler services to
crash on both the workstation and on the Windows 2000 server. Is there a
simple method in Windows 2000 or AD to deny this single computer from
accessing a single printer on the network server while still allowing the
computer to print and install other network printers?

Go into the printer share properties, for example on the Windows server that
is sharing the printer [try right-clicking on the printer and selecting
Properties]. You should definitely be able to assign user permissions, and
I would think also computer permissions as well.
