WinXP SP2 Pro. Dial-up.
I do my security checks every morning.
This morning I did the big check in safe mode.
Reason ?
Yesterday when I turned on my pc for the second
go around, my IE and OE looked like they grew a PINK skin,
that I had never put on them.
I use the WindowsXP Style-Olive,and the rest shows kind of
in beige, but not yesterday,it was all pink...
Any input from you fine folks would be appreciated.
Thanks..

as usual I updated, went into safe mode
with hidden files showing,and ran
Ad-Aware
Search&Destroy
Stinger
AVG and also ran a chkdsk/f,
then I ran hijackthis, and didn't see anything
unusual...All came out clean.

Doesn't sound like spyware/malware to me. Sounds like a video adapter
problem, or a connectivity problem with your monitor cable....did you check
all that?
