Sometimes when I shutdown or re-start my computer I get a message that there
are other people signed onto this computer and they might lose some settings
if the computer is shut down. There is not supposed to be anyone else logged
onto this computer. My question is how do I find out who this is and more
importantly how do I stop this. My thanks in advance to anyone that can help
me with this question.......

Do you have Fast User Switching enabled, and is someone else connected in
another session?
Do you have your firewall enabled?
Do you have SP2?
Do you have all current critical patches & updates applied?

Check "Users and Groups" on your computer to see what users are active. Also,
in administrative tools / local security policy you can check the rights for
remote access.
