I am getting quite a few e-mails that have only a graphic that is linked to a
website. Most of these graphics are trying to sell Rolex watches. As for
the websites they are linked to - - who knows.

Is there some setting that I missed in Norton Internet Security 2006 that
blocks these kinds of e-mails? Norton is picking them up as spam but I don't
want them in my in-box to begin with.

You can't do much about it. It's spam and it's probably coming from an
infected computer or they got your email address somewhere. Just delete
these emails, don't click on any links and keep your antivirus software
updated.

Spam is now illegal and can be offensive. In your case this type of spam is
trying to sell you a watch - advertisements. There can be codes in sites
where they can track your email addresses etc etc. What you need to do is
foward these messages to this email address: spam@uce.gov , this is called
"The can spam-act" report address where they will investigate it for you.
After your forward the message you may delete the message. You can also
download email filters that can delete any web address you add to the list,
some email companies online or offline have these already built in their
software. Hope this is any help to you!
