If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
My NAV 2006 just started running a full scan for no apparent reason.
There was not a virus alert and there is nothing in the reports right
before the scan started. Why would it do that?

Contact Symantec for support. As your recently purchased software
may be under warranty.

Has it happened to anyone else? (I mean the sudden self-starting, not
contacting support.)

I've had it about two weeks and it never did that.
