If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options It took me a few minutes to figure out what you meant but I got there. Under
"Computer Name" it lists: Computer Description: (MyChoice), then Full
Computer Name: THOMAS, then Workgroup: WORKGROUP. At the end it says To
rename this computer or join a workgroup, click Change. but nowhere does it
say anything about a Domain but it definately says that in the error message
at the startup of the computer each time and when I try to make changes to my
computer it says I need administrative approval and I am IT, OWNER and DOMAIN
but it seems it all stems from the logon. It is so very frustrating. I have
had the same computer since 2003 and is generally pretty good but with with
my daughter turning 14 I am trying to learn more and wanting to put
protections on websites and I believe I need these controls and I should be
able to have them. Thank you for your help. Thank you.
