Hi Greensky,
Unless your desktop support and IT experience are specifically IT security
based, ISACA (CISA) and ISC(2) (CISSP) will not certify you.
I'm not sure what the laws are in your country, but in the UK, the CISA
qualification would be the better for an auditing position. The CISSP is
much more biased towards the management of IT security.
I have heard it said that ISACA check work histories a lot closer than
ISC(2) but I only have experience of the checks that ISC(2) perform.
