Hi all,

seems a silly question, but I can't find the answer inside microsoft.com
site : does a IPSec client exists for Windows Mobile 2003 ??

Any URL pointing to information on it will be welcome !!

Thanks in advance

I did some searching via Google and the only thing I could find is that it
is supposed to support l2tp/ipsec VPN connections. I could not find anything
about configuring an ipsec policy on it to use for LAN ipsec traffic though
that does not mean it does not exist. You might ant to also post in
newsgroups for pocketpc to see if you can find any more there. The link
below is an example on how to configure it for l2tp. --- Steve

In the URL it shows how to configure IPSec in Windows Mobile 2003, so I
should assume that exists an IPSec implementation for it.
BTW I'll not use it on a LAN but over the Internet.

BTW, in http://www.jacco2.dds.nl/networking/freeswan-pocketpc.html is
established that IPSec in Windows Mobile 2003 only can be used with L2TP and
not for IPSec only applications.

It's that so ??

Thanks in advance

I am not that familiar with Windows Mobile 2003 but that would seem to be
the case as Svyatoslav Pidgorny advises. --- Steve
