If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
After Getting burned more than a few times from Viruses and Spyware, I
now update MS Windows, Use Spybot search and destroy, AVG AntiVirus
software, RegScrubXP To clean registry, Pc Doctor to check for errors
and lastly Registry First Aid. I update and Run These Every Single day.
This might seem over kill but most of the time one picks up an error
that the others Don't.
Very RARELY Do I get Pop ups and spyware.

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
It would be interesting what spyware gets through to your system as you're
doing this routine...

Yes, it does seem like overkill. Avoid registry cleaners at all cost.
