Beforehand, thanks for your attention
I have a computer with WXP Pro, used one. The previous owner did
something to make a warning label appear before the user account names
shows on the screen, exactly after booting. It says "This computer
belongs to (names on here) ask them if you can use this computer". All
you have to do to use the computer its to make click on the "OK" button
and the users screen shows. I've been searching for two weeks and found
nothing to stop that -maybe, I'm a bad searcher-. Is there any way to
get ride of it? Thank you very much for your time and help

I don't know if I'm fully understanding your question but try this:

Go to start, control panel, and click on User Accounts. Now click the
option: Change the way a user logs on or off. And check the option Use the
Welcome Screen. Please post back if I'm wrong (I have the feeling I am...)!

Hi,

Once you logon to the computer click on Start and then Run. Here enter

gpedit.msc.

Drill down under Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security
Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\

Here look for setting called "Interactive logon: Message text for users
attempting to log on" and change or disable it.

I hope it helps...

Like I said... my answer was probably wrong. Follow Mike's solution.
