If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options This is a support group for Microsoft products, but the issues you
seem to be having are at least in part about how to deal with this
non-Microsoft software.
When you use the userpasswords2 interface I previously showed
to you, you should do the double Advanced in order to get to the
full Users and Groups interface. There you can add an account to
multiple groups (i.e. you do not have to remove from Administrators
in order to add to Sudoers, the account may be in both).
In Home (which I do not use and so am mostly guessing) the account
may then show up in the dumbed down Home interfaces as of other
or unknown type rather than as being a Limited or Administrator
account. But just remember, that is what the interfaces choose to
say/show. If you at a cmd prompt can issue
net localgroup Administrators
and see the account listed as a member then it is an admin account.
