Home/Home Office editions of NAV can't remove what Symantec calls "extended
security threats".

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

Try going to http://housecall.antivirus.com which is Trend Micro antivirus
on a web page. It may be able to remove it. If it cannot remove it but you
have gotten a name for the Trojan, then yes, you may have to look up that
virus name at the virus encyclopedia on the web site for that antivirus
manufacturer or at www.sarc.com to get manual removal instructions or a
special removal tool.

I didn't see the beginning of this thread, but here are general
malware/virus removal steps. I don't recommend going to online scanners
unless there is no other alternative. Everything I recommend is free.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Include scanning with either Sysclean or Multi_AV, plus AVG Anti-Spyware
(formerly Ewido - http://www.ewido.net/en/) and follow instructions to
do all scans in Safe Mode.

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the link above (not here, please).

Standard caveat: If the procedures look too complex - and there is no
shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigStoreUSA). Please be aware that not all local shops are skilled at
removing malware and even if they are, your computer may be so infested
that Windows will need to be clean-installed. Have all your data backed
up before you take the machine into a shop.

And since the OP says s/he has "another virus", s/he should consider
practicing "Safe Hex":

Many viruses and Trojans cannot be automatically removed. If you know the
name of the trojan, simply go to the Symantec website fro removal
instructions.
