I found MRT*.* in folder titled
"bdd19dcc3d813ebf6013b85177b8"
Searching Goggle says it is a Virus/Malware.
Others say its part
of MS program. Which is correct ? And if it's a
Virus/Malware
how to I get rid of it?

It's spelled legitimate, not 'legitament'. Try this ...
go to Start > Run > type in

mrt
Click OK or press Enter
Do a Full Scan of the system
If MRT scans the system and finds nothing untowards, then it is legitimate.

Well, what is in a name? right?
I mean, anyone can rename something to anything.
Folder names like you mentioned are used by Microsoft Update
as temp folders, so things "fit" a normal pattern; but, anyone with
permission can name things as they wish.
Do you believe this is causing something to run?
Do you have a .exe? If so, when you go into the properties does
the info check out, particularly the digital signature ?

You are probably chasing shadows from running autoupdates.
