If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Does anyone know how to recover a hotmail account that someone else has taken
over? Somone got onto my account and changed the password and security
question.

There's only ONE thing todo, get a new hotmail account, and this time make a
HARD TO GUESS password!
NEVER DO:
admin
administrator
your account name
your name
sport team
town name/ state name
123 (in-order numbers)
abc (in-order letters)
asd (in-order letters, on qwert keyboard)
DO SOEMTHING LIKE THIS (BUT NOT THIS):

I fully disagree with the other two previous posts.
if you have essential information in your email ,you should take control of
it again (at least try to do this).After performing the instructions
below,inform your friends and colleagues you have a conversation with about
what happended to you because of the hacker.
1.Check your personal computer for all kind of threats.Nowadays there are
many trojans ,keyloggers or spyware that are very dangerous
.Trojan-keyloggers are the most dangerous in your case because if you have it
,it saves EVERY keystrock you do on your keyboard.
2.Make your PC more secure
3.Chane your password and security question and make them more secure
4.Report your problem to MSN.

change your password .Make it stronger ! This means that you use numbers
,letters and at least one special character such as @ # - and so on...
Also ,change the question that you are asked when you forget your password.
< Do not use your birthday ,place of living ,you pet's name or any personal
and well-known info.Also never include stupid combination of letters or
numbers that you can easy forget >
